Elena Jacinta – Online Somatic Therapist

Elena Jacinta, SEP
Online Somatic Therapist for Women
Helping women find safety and connection within themselves, their bodies, and their relationships
Hi, I’m Elena Jacinta, a somatic therapist and the founder of Back To Your Body. Based in Southeast Asia, I support women worldwide through an attuned, body-first approach grounded in Somatic Experiencing ® (SE) with a focus on early relational patterns and shock trauma.
My Story
I was born in Latvia and spent 15 years of my life as a professional dance artist, touring, choreographing, and teaching across Europe.
This is when I discovered somatic movement and bodywork. But it wasn’t until my body collapsed after a series of highly stressful events and burnout that I truly appreciated the subtle healing power of these body-mind tools.
Slowly, through gentle trauma-informed somatic practices and therapy, I started to reconnect with my body in ways that reshaped how I show up in life. It wasn’t an overnight transformation, though, but a gradual process that still unfolds.
What I’ve learnt from my own healing and trauma-focused education has become the foundation of my work today, which I continue to deepen through ongoing courses, supervision and professional practice.
As an online somatic therapist, I share this with women who are seeking a body-based approach that goes beyond talking alone – a process guided by listening to the body together, rather than forcing it to change.
My Clients' Story
Many of the women I work with are sensitive, self-aware and committed to their healing. They’ve often tried different approaches, gained insights along the way, yet something inside remained unresolved.
They come to me longing for a deeper kind of healing, one that doesn’t just touch the mind but also includes their body.
Often, there’s a wish to feel more regulated and less reactive, to feel safer and more connected to themselves, their bodies and their needs.
Whatever the details, what I hear most often is a longing for change that feels real, embodied and lasting. This is where our work together begins.
My Speciality & What I Help With as an Online Somatic Therapist
Through Somatic Experiencing (SE) and other body-oriented methods, I help women with nervous system regulation and healing emotional overwhelm related to stress and trauma.
My core area of expertise is developmental and attachment trauma, focusing on relational patterns shaped by early childhood experiences.
I also enjoy helping women reclaim their bodies after shock trauma, such as surgeries, accidents, assaults or natural disasters, and offer guidance in exploring generational trauma and the patterns passed down through families.
What Other Women Say
My Values & Approach
Here’s what you can expect from sessions with me:
Embodiment
This process opens up space for deeper embodiment and body-mind integration. It respectfully invites you to set aside the story of the mind so we can listen to the story your body has to tell and the insights that emerge from it.
Presence
Presence is my guiding principle. Together, we’ll observe the subtle cues of your nervous system, staying present with whatever arises within you. This often brings new awareness to the hidden patterns and creates an opportunity for them to shift.
Attunement
Attunement and sensitivity are at the heart of my work. My wish for you is to feel seen and supported in our sessions. This is why I balance my guidance with giving you space so you can be with your own experience without being rushed.
Depth and Pacing
Over time, deeper layers of trauma get revealed. This includes past memories, protective responses and long-held beliefs. We approach them gradually, one step at a time, within a stable and resourced therapeutic space.
Trust and Direction
This work invites you to trust your body’s self-healing capacity and the natural timing of your process. When change seems slow, the smallest positive shifts are signs of the innate resilience you have. My role is to remind you of that and help you stay oriented along the way.

Step 1:
Fill out the New Client Application Form. Once I receive your form and if it seems like a fit, I’ll send you my calendar link to book your first session.
Schedule and attend your first short online session. The cost is 45 euros for a 30-minute session. In this 30-minute session, you’ll experience what this process feels like. We’ll also clarify your goals and desired outcomes, and I will advise you on the next steps.
Watch the video below to prepare for our first session and to learn what to expect.
Step 3:
Arrange further online sessions (weekly or bi-weekly) for ongoing one-on-one somatic therapy support and integration.
FAQ
At this point, I’m only offering sessions online/ virtually.
My current rates are:
45 EUR* for the first half-hour online session;
90 EUR* for a single one-hour session or
255 EUR* for a package of 3 sessions.
At the moment, I don’t offer discounts or a sliding scale.
* Clients with a billing address in the European Union will have VAT added at checkout in compliance with EU regulations.
It depends on the type of issue or concern that you would like to work through. For instance, minor single-event trauma or dysregulation will take much less time to address than chronic dysregulation, multiple traumas or developmental/ relational trauma. In general, I would allow at least 3 months of weekly sessions to attend to an issue or a portion of a bigger issue and then revise our progress. SE is relatively slow-paced, but small shifts usually start show up from the first session.
